Herbal Remedies | Guava as anti-HIV/AIDS Herbal

Guava (Psidium guajava) obviously can be used for alternative healing of HIV / AIDS disease. Research shows that the boiled water of Guava leaves is potential to impede, even kill dengue fever disease and HIV. Recently tens of medical experts from the Faculty of Taipei is researching and developing the active compound that can hamper the HIV growth. Prof. Yang Ling Ling, head of the research team said, his team has found flavonoid compound from several plants that can hamper the development of HIV. One is guava.

In the Chinese and Asia, Guava leaves already used in various traditional treatments. As the cure for colitis, anti-infection, diarrhea, dysentery, ulcer and being used as anti-bleeding medicine.

Guava / guajava fruit contains many essential oil, acid ursolat, oleanolat acid, acid guaja vermin, and vitamins A, B, C and several essential minerals. Especially its leaves, estimated to contain up to 9% eutenol, 3% resin, calcium and Oxalic.

The traditional medicinal plants literature write that guava's fruit, flowers and stems can be used to decoct or infusum, diarrhea medicine or gestroenteritis (peritonitis, gastritis and enteritis), especially in children.
